Nestled just 30 metres from the ski lift, the location was ideal for easy access to the slopes, enhancing the overall value of the stay. The accommodation, while not lavish, provided essential comforts. The neat rooms were functional, with shared access to clean bathrooms and an efficient drying room for ski gear. A highlight was the onsen—a soothing communal bath perfect for unwinding after a long day outdoors. A complimentary breakfast featuring traditional Japanese cuisine struck a lovely balance, providing a taste of home. Although dinner bookings were necessary, the culinary offerings stood out. Excellent hospitality made a significant difference. The hosts facilitated ski pass arrangements and shuttle services, elevating the overall experience without added costs. In the end, Annex Aburaya proves to be an economical yet comfortable base for adventurers keen on exploring the slopes, making it a smart choice for budget-conscious travellers.
